The current Linux release is tested on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, 64-bit. Installation takes only a few minutes.

Open Terminal and run these commands. APT will install the required system dependencies automatically.
Restart your computer once after installation. Then open PlainVPN from the applications menu, sign in, and connect.
Support for additional Linux distributions and package formats will be announced after compatibility testing.
PlainVPN installs a protected networking service and adds your user to the PlainVPN access group. Restarting applies that group membership cleanly before your first connection.
PlainVPN checks for new releases and tells you when an update is available. Download the new .deb package and install it with the same APT command. Your saved settings remain in place.
Yes. Traffic obfuscation is included in PlainVPN for Linux and can be enabled before connecting.
Open Terminal and run:
Restart the computer once, confirm that Ubuntu is fully updated, and try again. If the problem continues, contact PlainVPN support and include the exact error shown in the app.
Download the Ubuntu package, install it from Terminal, and use the same PlainVPN account you already use on your other devices.
