This page explains how refunds are handled for PlainVPN purchases, including subscriptions made through Apple, Google Play, or direct payment methods.

- Appleでの購入: Apple経由で購入されたサブスクリプションの返金は、Appleが直接対応します。
- Google Playでの購入: Google Play経由で購入されたサブスクリプションの返金は、Google Playの請求ルールに従って処理されます。
- 直接購入: PlainVPNまたは当社の直接請求プロバイダーから購入された場合は、お問い合わせください。内容を確認いたします。
- キャンセルと返金は別の手続きです。 サブスクリプションをキャンセルすると今後の更新は停止しますが、過去の請求に対する返金が自動的に発生するわけではありません。
1) 一般ポリシー
We want PlainVPN customers to have a fair and transparent billing experience. Refund eligibility depends on where the purchase was made, because some platforms control billing and refunds themselves.
The payment platform that processed your order may have its own refund rules, deadlines, and approval process.
2) Apple経由の購入
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, the billing relationship is managed by Apple. That means PlainVPN cannot directly issue or guarantee refunds for Apple purchases.
- Refund requests must be submitted through Apple.
- Apple decides whether a refund is approved.
- Subscription cancellation must also be managed through your Apple account settings when applicable.

3) Google Play経由の購入
If you subscribed through Google Play, refunds are generally handled according to Google Play billing and refund rules.
- Google may allow refunds in certain situations and within certain time windows.
- Refund approval is determined by Google or under Google Play rules.
- PlainVPN may assist with account-related questions, but we do not control Google's refund decisions.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly through Google Play, first check your Google Play subscription history and refund options.
4) 直接購入
If you purchased PlainVPN directly through our website or through an authorized direct billing partner, your purchase is covered by our 30日間返金保証.
If you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, you may request a refund within 初回購入日から14日間. Once the request is reviewed and approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method where possible.
Conditions
- The refund request must be made within 14 days of the original purchase.
- The request must come from the account that made the purchase.
- Refunds apply only to direct purchases and do not apply to purchases made through Apple or Google Play.
After the 30-day period has passed, purchases are considered final unless required otherwise by applicable law.
5) Non-refundable situations
Refunds may be denied where permitted by law and platform rules, including for example:
- Requests made long after the charge date.
- Change of mind after substantial use of the service.
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date.
- Violations of our 利用規約 or abuse of the refund system.
- Cases where the platform provider has final control over the refund decision.
6) Subscription cancellation
You can cancel renewal at any time through the platform where you subscribed, or through your account area when direct billing supports it.
When you cancel, your subscription usually remains active until the end of the already-paid billing period, unless the billing platform says otherwise.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future charges, but does not automatically refund the most recent payment.
7) Processing times
If a refund for a direct purchase is approved, the time it takes for funds to appear in your account depends on the payment provider, your bank, or the card issuer.
- We may require up to 2–5 business days to verify the request and purchase details.
- After approval, refunds are issued immediately, however banks and card networks may take an additional 5–10 business days to process and post the funds to your account.
8) How to request help
If you want help with a billing issue or believe you may qualify for a refund on a direct purchase, contact us and include:
- Your account email address.
- The platform used for the purchase (Apple, Google Play, or direct website purchase).
- The approximate charge date and amount.
- A short explanation of the problem.
